Operating as a direct specialty care (DSC) clinic, we've streamlined our patient care by eliminating the complexities and hassles of health insurance. Please note that we do not participate in any health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our transparent pay-as-you-go model ensures that you're only charged for the exceptional direct specialty care (DSC) you receive during each appointment, with no hidden or surprise costs. Our patients, with health insurance plans offering out-of-network benefits, are reimbursed for their clinic visits. Upon request, we do provide you with insurance-friendly coded claims and payment details for submission to your health plan for reimbursement. We look forward to meet you and support your health and wellness journey. Please note that PHW Specialty Clinic fees are subject to change annually.

    Taking charge of your health is a significant step towards achieving optimal well-being. PHW Specialty Clinic simplifies the process of becoming a new patient, enabling you to access our exceptional concierge specialty care services. We are always committed to helping you achieve optimal health and lifelong wellness.

     

    How It Works

    PHW Specialty Clinic initial new patient appointments are only available in-person at our Tysons clinic. Follow-up appointments are available both in-person or online Telehealth visits.

     

    New Patients: Start Here

    Simply follow the following 3 simple steps to become a select PHW Specialty Clinic patient and experience the transformative power of personalized, holistic specialty care for your overall well-being.

     

    Step 1: Self Register

    Simply complete and submit your online new patient forms (required) from wherever you are. We do require up to 3 business days to process inbound new patient forms before you will be contacted to schedule your initial clinic visit.

     

    Step 2: Schedule Initial Visit

    Upon scheduling your initial in-person clinic visit appointment, we will require the following:

    • Initial Reservation Deposit (required): Pay a one-time, non-refundable $150 reservation payment deposit to secure your initial clinic appointment. Your pre-paid appointment reservation deposit is automatically applied towards your initial clinic visit fees.
    • Billing Credit/Debit Card (required): Provide your preferred billing credit/debit card information to only be used to settle your clinic visit fees, optional health care services fees, or any outstanding balances on your patient account.

    Step 3: Start Your Visits

    • Patient Portal: Log in to your patient portal to send us your pertinent medical information to review a minimum of 5 business days before your scheduled initial appointment.
    • Check-in: Present your current government-issued photo identification card and active health insurance plan card(s).
    • Check-out: Pay your clinic visit fees (including any outstanding patient account balances) and schedule your follow-up appointment.
    • Optional: Request your clinic visit insurance coded claim form and payment information for you to submit to your health plan for reimbursement.

     

    Clinic Fee Structure

    At PHW Specialty Clinic, honesty and transparency guide our approach to health care costs. We deliver exceptional concierge-quality DSC without any hidden or surprise fees. Our fee structure is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of the costs associated with your specialty care right from the start. We determine our clinic fees based on several factors, including:

    1. Patient Complexity: The complexity of your health issues and medical conditions discussed during each appointment.
    2. Provider Face Time: The amount of dedicated face-to-face time your provider spends with you during each appointment.
    3. Medical Review Time: The duration your provider devotes to reviewing and assessing your health records, information, test results, etc., for each appointment.
    4. Services Rendered: The comprehensive clinical analysis, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation services provided during each appointment.
    5. Ancillary Services: Any additional services such as third-party patient labs, prescriptions, imaging, etc., are the financial responsibility of the patient/guarantor.

    2023 Clinic Fees (subject to change)

     

    Initial Clinic Visit Fee: $450-$550

    • Signature VIP patient experience. No wait, extensive time in-person clinic visit. Up to 90 minutes of provider face time. Up to 60 additional minutes allocated for patient medical information review.
    • In-depth consultation and treatment. Establishing health timeline with treatment baseline. Analysis of current health data. Initial diagnostic laboratory testing orders, etc.

     

    Follow-up Clinic Visit Fee: $250-$350

    • Signature VIP patient experience. No wait, extensive time in-person clinic or convenient online Telehealth visits. Up to 45 minutes of provider face time. Up to 30 additional minutes allocated for patient medical information review.
    • In-depth consultation and treatment. Detailed interpretation of laboratory test results. Analysis of new health data. Reassessment of treatment baseline, etc.

     

    Optional Care Services (additional clinic fee charges):

    • Prescription refills
    • Third-party medical records review
    • Third-party patient forms
    • Medical records copies
    • Disability determinations
    • Dietary counseling
    • Patient advocacy or special request letters
    • Unscheduled extended time (3 min+) patient to provider phone medical inquiries

     

    Payment

    PHW Specialty Clinic only accepts major credit/debit cards, including FSA/HSA debit cards, as forms of payment.

     

    Patient Discounts

    At PHW Specialty Clinic, we value our patients and strive to make high-quality health care more accessible. We are pleased to offer the following PHW clinic patient discounts:

    • Fullscript Supplements: All patients receive a 15% off discount on Fullscript medical-grade supplements.
    • Clinic Visits: Qualified patients who are eligible for a 10% off discount on clinic visit fees per appointment include: seniors, couples, family members, and military service members.
